We're seeking motivated Finance Interns with no prior experience to gain hands-on exposure to investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial modeling. Our 12-week paid internship program combines mentorship, real-world projects, and networking opportunities with industry leaders. You'll work alongside seasoned finance professionals while developing critical skills in Excel, financial reporting, and market research. Located in downtown Raleigh's bustling business district, you'll be immersed in one of America's fastest-growing tech and finance hubs.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in preparing financial models and valuation reports
- Research market trends and compile industry data for investment decisions
- Support portfolio performance tracking and variance analysis
- Contribute to quarterly financial reporting and budget preparation
- Participate in client meetings to understand financial objectives
- Develop proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal and financial software tools
- Present research findings to the investment committee
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, basic formulas)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data handling
- Available for 20-25 hours/week during the Fall 2023 term
