Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in building and maintaining complex financial models for client portfolios.
- Conduct in-depth market research and industry trend analysis to support investment decision-making.
- Prepare and summarize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the daily operations of the finance department, including data reconciliation and reporting.
- Attend client meetings and internal strategy sessions to observe and document professional practices.
- Create compelling pitch decks and presentation materials for internal review and client meetings.
- Perform ad-hoc financial audits and assist with compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables) and data visualization.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts, including time value of money, discounted cash flow (DCF), and ratio analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
