Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Support the accounting department with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and data entry.
- Conduct financial data analysis using Excel to identify trends and assist in budget forecasting.
- Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, and accounts payable documentation.
- Assist in the annual audit process by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to understand the broader business context.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in previous academic or work projects.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, GAAP, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
