Responsibilities
- Assist the finance team with data entry, filing, and document organization to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports, including budget summaries and expense tracking.
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to aid in strategic planning.
- Monitor and update internal financial databases and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare correspondence and memos for internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Shadow senior analysts to learn about portfolio management, banking operations, and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred) OR a High School Diploma with a strong interest in finance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data management.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new financial software and industry standards.
