Responsibilities
- Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the preparation and organization of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze financial data to help identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Accounting Support: Help maintain accurate ledgers, reconcile accounts, and process invoices.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends and competitor activities to assist in strategic planning.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables and functions are a plus).
- Detail Oriented: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work Ethic: A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
