Responsibilities
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct Market Research: Gather and analyze industry data to assist in investment research and portfolio performance evaluation.
- Excel & Data Management: Maintain and update complex financial databases and spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions.
- Support Audits: Help coordinate external audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare Presentations: Create slide decks and executive summaries to communicate findings to the investment committee.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- GPA: Minimum 3.0 GPA (strongly preferred for finance roles).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
