Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial models, including DCF analysis and merger models.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis for potential investment targets.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and presentations for senior management.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and market trends.
- Support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
- Review and audit expense reports and invoices for accuracy.
- Shadow investment bankers during client meetings and internal strategy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or other financial data platforms.
- Familiarity with Python or SQL for data analysis.
- Prior internship experience in investment banking or equity research.
