Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts with financial data entry and report preparation
- Support budget tracking and expense categorization tasks
- Learn investment fundamentals through simulated portfolio exercises
- Participate in weekly financial literacy workshops and team meetings
- Help organize and maintain financial documentation systems
- Shadow professionals during client consultations and market analyses
- Contribute to teen-focused financial literacy initiative projects
Qualifications
- Must be 16-18 years old and currently enrolled in high school
- Strong academic performance in math, economics, or business courses
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
- Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in finance, investing, or business administration
- Ability to commit to 15-20 hours per week for 3 months
- Valid California work permit if under 18
- Reliable transportation to downtown Long Beach office
