Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial models, including 3-statement models and DCF analyses.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on industries and companies to support investment due diligence.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using Excel and financial software tools.
- Prepare presentation materials, including executive summaries and pitch decks, for internal review.
- Monitor market news and economic indicators to identify trends relevant to our portfolio companies.
- Support the finance team with month-end close processes and reconciliation of financial statements.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (graduating in 2025 or 2026 preferred).
- Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
