Responsibilities

- Author visionary whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
- Establish KPI dashboards tracking adoption curves of emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions and government labs to secure first-mover advantages
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Present future-state vision to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders incubator program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses (scenario planning reports, trend maps)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or decentralized systems
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executable business strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CSO) or advanced analytics (e.g., Google ML)
