Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 innovation strategies by analyzing emerging tech trends, regulatory landscapes, and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for disruptive market changes through 2030
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of breakthrough technologies with 5+ year horizons
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ innovation budgets
- Establish KPIs to measure future-readiness across product development and market entry strategies
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Advanced degree in Strategy, Economics, Futures Studies, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and emerging technology assessment
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML, biotech, or sustainable energy commercialization pathways
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to translate complex futures into executable plans
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent analytical methodologies
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented future-strategy initiatives
