Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investor stakeholders
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term strategic initiatives and innovation ROI
- Manage a $15M innovation budget with rigorous financial modeling and risk assessment
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for R&D acceleration
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures consulting
- Proven track record of scaling tech-driven initiatives to $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Strategy, Business, or Technology (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or digital transformation
- PMP or similar strategic certification required
- Experience in high-growth SaaS or tech sectors
