Job Description
Join Horizon Dynamics as a Future Systems Architect and help build the technological backbone of 2026. We're seeking visionary engineers to design next-gen infrastructure that powers autonomous ecosystems, quantum computing interfaces, and decentralized networks. This role offers unparalleled opportunities to shape how humanity interacts with emerging technologies in the coming decade.
At Horizon Dynamics, we believe the future isn't just predicted—it's engineered. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and NASA alumni in our Austin R&D hub, where we're prototyping solutions for climate modeling, interplanetary communication systems, and AI-human symbiosis.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable frameworks for 2026's autonomous infrastructure requirements
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Design neural network interfaces for human-AI symbiotic systems
- Develop predictive models for climate adaptation technologies
- Prototype decentralized governance systems for global resource allocation
- Integrate space-based communication networks with terrestrial IoT ecosystems
- Validate systems against 10-year technological evolution scenarios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in systems architecture with quantum computing or neural network experience
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Systems Engineering
- Published research in Nature/Science on distributed systems or AI ethics
- Expertise in Rust, TensorFlow Quantum, and blockchain consensus algorithms
- Security clearance or background in aerospace/defense systems
- Portfolio demonstrating large-scale autonomous system deployments
- Fluency in at least two programming paradigms (functional, logic, declarative)
- Experience with interplanetary communication protocols (CCSDS standards)
