Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance distributed systems capable of handling quantum-ready workloads.
- Lead the architectural strategy for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of AI researchers and data scientists to integrate advanced machine learning models into core infrastructure.
- Drive technical excellence by establishing coding standards, review processes, and best practices for cloud-native environments.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks in real-time, ensuring 99.99% system availability and security.
- Mentor and elevate the technical capabilities of junior engineers and mid-level developers.
- Optimize legacy systems for migration to next-generation architectures.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in systems architecture, software engineering, or a related technical leadership role.
- Deep proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or C++.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong understanding of microservices patterns, event-driven architecture, and distributed databases.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects from conception to deployment.
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and high-performance computing clusters is a major plus.
