You will work closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, ethicists, and futurists to define the technical roadmap for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable distributed systems architecture capable of supporting AGI integration and quantum-ready workloads.
- System Optimization: Lead the optimization of large-scale data pipelines, ensuring low-latency processing and high availability for global operations.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish technical standards and guidelines to ensure AI autonomy remains aligned with human safety and ethical protocols.
- Cloud & Edge Computing: Oversee the migration and management of hybrid cloud environments, integrating edge computing solutions for real-time data processing.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor senior engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Risk Management: Identify potential systemic vulnerabilities and implement robust security protocols to protect proprietary data and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within high-scale tech environments.
- Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in languages such as Python, Rust, or Go, with a strong understanding of distributed systems.
- Quantum Readiness: Demonstrated knowledge or active interest in quantum computing concepts and their application to classical software architecture.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse teams.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex architectural challenges in ambiguous environments.
