- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and prototyping next-generation technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and tech pioneers
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, metaverse) and assess commercial viability
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, R&D sprints, and experimental projects
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation budget allocation and resource optimization for maximum impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with 5+ years at director/executive level
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or advanced automation
- Strong background in strategic planning with experience in 5-10 year tech roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing innovation teams of 15+ professionals across multiple disciplines
