Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, decentralized grids)
- Lead R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market gaps in sustainable tech and ethical AI
- Secure federal/state innovation grants ($50M+ annual target)
- Mentor a 20-person multidisciplinary team of futurists and engineers
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough systems with 20+ annual filings
- Forge partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and national laboratories
- Present at Davos, CES, and UN Tech Summits as company thought leader
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record securing $20M+ in innovation grants
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier IEEE journals
- Expertise in quantum computing architectures and AI ethics frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech regulations (EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
