Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for 2026, identifying emerging trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and Spatial Computing.
- Architecture Design: Lead the design of scalable, resilient systems that can handle future data loads and integration requirements.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Prototype Development: Spearhead the development of proof-of-concept prototypes for next-generation technologies.
- Vendor Relations: Evaluate and select cutting-edge technology partners and tools.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in AI/ML, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and Distributed Systems.
- Foresight: Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry shifts and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
