Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive market opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee cross-functional innovation initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite advisory role
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA from top-tier institution
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three future-tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation forums
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning)
