Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging tech including AI ethics, quantum applications, and biotech integration
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with strategic growth targets
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets across 15+ concurrent innovation projects
- Present future tech insights to Fortune 500 clients and industry panels
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA R&D labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record launching products with 10M+ users or $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or Harvard Business Review
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ disruptive tech implementations
