Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities in quantum computing, AGI, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, biocomputing, etc.) and assess enterprise readiness
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D acceleration
- Present future-tech frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ innovation budgets
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption maturity and ROI on future-oriented initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning) and horizon scanning
- Deep technical knowledge in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic engineering
- Executive experience leading $100M+ digital transformation programs
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on future systems
