Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 breakthrough capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, space tech, and quantum computing
- Design strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and R&D initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing future-forward solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech or innovation publications
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio of successful tech innovation initiatives
