Responsibilities
- Lead research horizon scanning for 2026+ technologies including quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, and climate-positive computing
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech vision into corporate strategy
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Represent company at global tech summits and emerging technology conferences
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI on future-tech investments
- Lead ethical framework development for responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven track record in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced robotics, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience building tech innovation labs or corporate venture arms
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Demonstrated ability to secure $5M+ budgets for experimental technology projects
