Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, AI ethics frameworks, climate tech)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic tech visions to C-suite and external investors through compelling data-driven narratives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative R&D
- Drive adoption of responsible innovation principles across all tech initiatives
- Maintain competitive intelligence through patent analysis and tech trend forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy/R&D with proven impact on commercialized innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or carbon capture tech
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ engineers and researchers
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Track record of securing $5M+ in innovation funding or partnerships
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy landscape (US-China-EU dynamics)
