Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen technologies including quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate-positive systems
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts and sustainability goals
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate emerging tech into product roadmaps and business strategy
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with KPI-driven ROI tracking for experimental projects
- Present strategic insights at global tech summits and publish thought leadership in IEEE and Nature journals
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile adoption of emerging technologies
- Establish industry partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and global climate tech accelerators
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record launching at least two commercialized emerging tech products
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing architectures, and circular economy tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience modeling complex systems (e.g., agent-based modeling)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, ACM) with 500+ citations
- Certified in TOGAF 9.1 and AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#)
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR, NSF) for experimental R&D projects
