Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate strategic tech initiatives into corporate vision
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future tech disruption
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with Fortune 500 or high-growth startup experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching technology products with $10M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with specialization in emerging technologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
