As a Future Technologies Strategist, you'll architect our roadmap for 2026+ by identifying emerging trends, evaluating disruptive innovations, and aligning them with our business vision. We're seeking a pioneer to shape how industries evolve in the next decade. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, lead cross-functional innovation sprints, and present strategic frameworks to our board of directors. Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for 5 industry verticals
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging tech (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Conduct risk/reward analysis for disruptive innovations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and executive stakeholders
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for experimental technologies
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of launching tech initiatives with $50M+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE) preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board audiences
- Portfolio of published tech trend analyses (2018-2023)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic (for global partnerships)
