Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 3-5 year relevance
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives for 2026+
- Conduct competitive analysis and market readiness assessments for novel tech domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technological insights into actionable initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory impacts on future deployments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in developing long-term tech roadmaps
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting complex concepts to C-level executives
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future technology assessments or strategy documents
