Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech startups
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes
- Manage innovation budgets and resource allocation
- Mentor junior team members in strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and forecasting methodologies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CTO Academy, Futures Thinking Institute) preferred
