Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with disruptive potential post-2025
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across 5 business verticals
- Conduct ROI analysis and risk assessment for experimental tech investments
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investors
- Build and manage an external network of academic researchers and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership reports on technology trends and ethical implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, biocomputing, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams in global enterprises
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
- Strong understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
