Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives and partner with R&D teams
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for future tech adoption
- Create technology impact assessments and investment recommendations
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
