Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concept prototypes for emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends (quantum, bio-integrated systems, etc.)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring innovation ROI and adoption velocity
- Partner with R&D to bridge theoretical research with commercial applications
- Develop talent acquisition strategies for specialized future-tech skillsets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with Fortune 500 partners
- Certifications in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Presentation skills to C-level and board audiences
