Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Prototype and validate next-gen systems in our R&D incubation lab
- Partner with product teams to integrate breakthrough innovations into commercial offerings
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and external stakeholders at industry conferences
- Build and manage a global network of academic and industry innovation partners
- Drive internal adoption of future-ready technologies across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling abilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Prior experience scaling innovation from lab to market
