Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough concepts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to assess complex technical landscapes
- Experience presenting to executive teams and board members
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, universities, labs)
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies
