- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for technology scouting
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Deep expertise in at least three future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience developing long-term (5+ year) tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive/board communication
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
