Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, decentralized AI) for commercial viability
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track adoption metrics for next-gen technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders at industry conferences
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching products incorporating AI, blockchain, or quantum computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Experience managing global innovation teams across multiple time zones
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Sloan)
