Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future tech concepts into actionable product development plans
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to access cutting-edge research and talent
- Present strategic technology insights to C-suite executives and board members to influence investment decisions
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and identify competitive advantages
- Mentor innovation teams in emerging technology adoption and ethical implementation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in future tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching successful tech initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive decision-making
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends (patents, journals, conferences)
- Certification in emerging technology strategy (e.g., Gartner, MIT Horizon Report) preferred
