Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate next-gen technologies in our innovation lab
- Develop predictive models for tech adoption and market disruption scenarios
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology projects
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech roles with Fortune 500 or unicorns
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI analysis
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Experience with international tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner)
