Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, clean energy)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and business units
- Analyze market trends to anticipate technological disruptions and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Proven experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience scaling technology initiatives in high-growth environments
