Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovations with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future-tech insights into actionable initiatives
- Analyze competitive landscapes and identify first-mover advantages in emerging markets
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a network of industry experts and thought leaders
- Monitor regulatory impacts on emerging tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing future-tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy
