Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate technological possibilities into business value
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage pilot programs for prototype technologies in real-world environments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact analysis
- Strong background in intellectual property strategy and patent development
- Master's or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
