Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Quantify ROI of emerging tech through scenario modeling and pilot programs
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-industry partnerships for ecosystem development
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling from concept to market implementation
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience managing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS AI, Google Quantum) a plus
