Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields like AGI, nanotechnology, and climate tech
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups and academic research for acquisition/partnerships
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through government grants and private investment
- Build and lead a team of 15+ futurists and technology analysts
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and keynote speaking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 tech companies or leading research institutions
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological systems
- Strong network of relationships in Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
