- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and researchers to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging tech disruptions
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships with venture capital and government entities
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment and quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching products that generated $50M+ ARR
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent innovation portfolio)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies in 15+ countries
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Prior experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA partnerships
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent tier publications
