Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) for competitive advantage
- Develop scenario-based models for technological disruption and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical initiatives with product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge innovation
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts impacting our industry
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing future-ready solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Futures Thinking (e.g., Foresight Professional)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing innovation budgets >$5M
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
