Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and consumer behavior trends
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial offerings
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and technology scouting programs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresighting (e.g., CFP) preferred
