Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for emerging tech adoption patterns
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring technological ROI and innovation impact
- Partner with product teams to translate technological capabilities into market-ready solutions
- Develop intellectual property strategies protecting breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record developing 5-year+ technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
