Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and company vision
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and scalable implementation
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product specialists
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Drive R&D investments in emerging technologies with 18-36 month horizons
- Establish governance protocols for ethical AI development and deployment
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or biotech convergence
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated success in scaling technology initiatives across global teams
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
