Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and corporate objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration)
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology adoption assessments for disruptive innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board committees
- Manage cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ innovation budgets
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and ethical implications
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CIMS)
