Responsibilities
- Architect 10-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, ethicists, and industry disruptors
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough technologies in sustainable energy systems
- Establish governance frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous system integration
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate technical feasibility studies into market-ready product blueprints
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology innovation with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar journals
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in technology ethics frameworks (UNESCO, IEEE, etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
